Hi, I'm Oswald Ehrke, the craftsman behind Heartwood Studio. I've always had a passion for working with my hands, with carpentry rooted in my family for generations.

What started as a hobby has grown into something more — a space where I create simple, well-made furniture and custom wood pieces with care and intention.

The name "Heartwood" comes from the strongest part of a tree — the inner core known for its strength, character, and durability. That's the standard I aim to bring into every piece I make.
